"The performance “By the way” is one of the brightest events in the history of the Soviet noncoformity. The action was taking place in the usual apartment in Odessa. The artist was sitting on a cut stump, surrounded by stenciled inscriptions “By the way” (“Between other”). The whole room became the metaphysical space “between”, all the spectators and the objects in the room became “other”. However, the explanations of the seemingly very simple action can lead a long way. Conceptualism is always laconic only on the surface." Anna Parovatkina. In Kyiv, in PinchukArtCentre the Ukrainian modern art have been presented: “Borderline. Ukrainian Art 1985-2004”. Artchive, 2015.
